Condolence: Glenda was my friend for 53 years. I so don’t want to let her go. She was my roommate our freshman year at Transylvania University fall of 1963. Her friendship was a blessing from the moment we met. That friendship including getting to know her family and sharing in their love and generosity. We were in each other’s weddings, and though we moved to different parts of the country, we would visit and catch right up. We girlfriends attended our 45th Transy reunion in 2012. Sid and Glenda were great hosts and their love for each other was always evident. Charlie and Glenda were just down to our home in Durham, NC a month ago; I will always cherish memories of our good time together. I will be in Paris to lay her to rest.
