Sharon Ann Clapp, 79, widow of Samuel Joseph Clapp, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1937 in Mishawaka, Indiana, daughter of the late Richard Kerner and Dorothy Smith King and was a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation. Sharon is survived by three daughters, Katherine (Mike) Leer, Jeannie Roggemann, Rebecca Tubbs; two sons, David Clapp, Dan Roggemann; a sister, Kathy Russell; fifteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation by Rev. Daniel Fister with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jim Baber, Jamie Courtney, Matt Roberts, Vance Blackwell, Mike Leer, and Andrew McCullough. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church.
