Hubert Lee  Johnston
Hubert Lee Johnston, 85, a thoroughbred horse breeder, husband of Mindy Cook, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born May 22, 1931 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late James Seaton and Marie Opal Young Johnston. Hubert was a former basketball and football player, having played for the Washington Redskins for a year. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Kay Gibbons, Julie Johnston, Susan Johnston; gour grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. There will be no service.
