Obituary for Doris Gene Waters Sr.
Doris Gene Waters Sr., 79, owner and operator of Waters Electric, widower of Brenda Allison Waters, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born September 18, 1937 in Paris, son of the late Walter and Lucille West Waters. He is survived by four children, Diana (Joe) Morgan, Huntsville, Alabama, Doris Gene (Connie) Waters Jr., Paula Sexton, Cindy (John) White, all of Paris; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. William E. Singleton with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Virgil Trichler, Gary Withrow, Kenneth Withrow, Doris Gene Waters Jr., John White, and Gene Ferrell. Honorary bearers will be Joe Morgan, Steven Ferrell, Jack Sexton, Jordan Wagoner, and Steve Roy. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
