Edward Sanders "Eddie"  Perkins
Edward Sanders “Eddie” Perkins, 79, a retired farmer, U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at his home. He was born November 5, 1937 in Bourbon County, son of the late Hord and Mary Fooks Perkins and was a graduate of Bourbon County High School. Eddie leaves behind special family, John Edward and Athena Richard; Ashley and Derek Osborne and their children, Case and Grayson; Katie Richard; and Charles Holmes. He was preceded in death by Lula Wilson Richard and Bobby Richard. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Bill Kilgore with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Wayne Wilson, Steve Rankin, Jeff Turpin, Buddy Turpin, Ronald Chanslor, and Thomas W. “Tuck” Talbot. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
