Obituary for James Thomas Harrill

James Thomas  Harrill
James Thomas Harrill, 82, retired health director for Bourbon County Health Department, husband of Pat Blankenship Harrill, died Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Georgetown Community Hospital. He was born December 18, 1934 in Ellenboro, North Carolina, son of the late George W. and Lucille Toms Harrill. Jim was a graduate of Ellenboro High School and Berea College, a member of Paris Lions Club, and active member of Paris First United Methodist Church where he served as financial secretary and was a member of United Methodist Men. In addition to his wife, Jim is also survived by two daughters, Pam (Matthew) Richardson, Parkersburg, West Virginia, Holli (Bill) Gibson, Paris; five grandchildren, Josh Bourdon, Brett Bourdon, Traci Bourdon, Ethan Gibson, Laurel Gibson; three sisters, Betty (Morris) Buchanan, Marjorie (Harry) Seel, Julia Randall; and two brothers, Russell Harrill and David (Nancy) Harrill. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 2, at Paris First United Methodist Church by Rev. Dr. Eliseo A. Mejia with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Bill Gibson, Matt Richardson, Josh Bourdon, Brett Bourdon, Ethan Gibson, and Laurel Gibson. Members of Paris Lions Club and First United Methodist Men will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorials suggested to Paris First United Methodist Church.
