Paul Douglas “Doug” George Jr, 58, of Millersburg, a rental property owner, widower of Mary Jane Snider George, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at his home. He was born October 11, 1959 in Lexington, son of the late Paul Douglas and Betty Lee Harney George. Doug is survived by two sisters, Dottie George Kielman, Flemingsburg, Tracey George King, Millersburg; a brother, William Everett George, Millersburg; uncle Billy C. (Ramona) George, Carlisle; an aunt, Kay George Shumate, Paris; his special children, Justin Ward, Lewis Barnett, Kendra Barnett; three nephews, Richie (Lori) Kielman, Michael (Amber) Kielman, Whitney (Natasha) Kielman; special cousin, Karla Kenton Pass; and several great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 12, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. David Mefford with burial in Millersburg Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Whitney Lee Kielman, Richie Kielman, Michael Kielman, Cliff Shumate, Dan Short, and Bryan Short. Honorary bearers will be Dickie Clark, Scott Clark, David Lake, Jane Johnson, Martha Overly, Dean Avery, Jack Crump, Frank Crump, Buddy Mynear, Mike Peel, Billy True, Christopher Rainey, Frank Burkhardt, Timmy Hill, Melissa Harney, Junior Herrington, Robert and Audrey Wagner Rainey, and Mark and Jennifer Dowden. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
