Jane Lois Turpin Parrett, 81, a retired legal secretary for Jackson Kelly Attorneys, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at her home. She was born March 14, 1937 in Paris, daughter of the late Hubert and Frances Allison Turpin. Jane was a 1955 graduate of Paris High School and was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Lynne Logan, Kissimmee, Florida, Mary Jean Buckler, Lexington; a son, George “Greg” Buckler, Lexington; two grandsons, Christopher (Kary) Logan, St. Cloud, Florida, William Gregory Logan, Beattyville; and three great granddaughters, Raven Kelly Logan, Hailey Renay Logan, and Leeanna Kassey Logan. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Hampton Turpin, Mary Dell Turner; and by two brothers, H. Ross Turpin and Allison Hart "Sonny" Turpin. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Carlisle Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Edward Allison, Chris Logan, Greg Logan, Porter Hilen, Rusty Hellett, and Randall Perkins. Carl Allen Turpin and Terry Lee Turner will serve as honorary bearers.
