Twila Joyce Oaxaca, 85, of Georgetown, wife of William R. Oaxaca, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at her home. She was born April 21, 1930 in St. Francis, Kansas, daughter of the late William and Emma Cook Fross. In addition to her husband, Twila is survived by three sons, Randy C. Whaley, California, William M. (Vanessa) Whaley, Carlisle, Curtis A. (Mildred) Whaley, Paris; a stepdaughter, Denice M. Oaxaca, California; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons and a daughter. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Calvary Christian Church by Brother Merrill Mitchell with visitation starting at 12 noon. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Fresno, California. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
