Deborah Jo Johnson, 68, a retired Montessori teacher, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her home. She was born September 10, 1949 in Paris, daughter of the late Joseph Fithian and Emma Lee Tucker Johnson. Debbie was a graduate of Xavier University and was of the Catholic faith. She ran her own Montessori School in Lebanon, Ohio and established the Montessori teaching at St. Mary School in Paris. Debbie is survived by a niece, Jacque Mitchell Parker, Maysville; a nephew, Tommy Mitchell Jr., Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law, Diana Mitchell, Maysville; and her very special family of teachers and students at St. Mary School. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Millersburg Cemetery.
