Obituary for Kendall Ray Sebastian

Kendall Ray Sebastian, age 57 of Paris, husband of Rebecca Fletcher Sebastian, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital. Kendall was born on June 20, 1961 in Manchester, Kentucky, the son of the late Wardie and Mary Jane Sebastian. He was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, a Group Leader at Kentucky Smelting Technology and was of the Methodist faith. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Ransdell.

Besides his wife, Becky, Kendall is survived by their children, a son, Tyler Sebastian and a daughter, Katie Sebastian. Also surviving are his siblings, Tonya (Wendell) Terrell, Wardie (Cathy) Sebastian, Jr., and Russell (Leslie) Sebastian; brother-in-law, Dudley Crouch, special nephew, Jon (Erin) Sebastian; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Kendall Ray Sebastian will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Deaton officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being Scott Welsh, Aaron Welsh, Keith Adams, Jeremy Deweese, Jeremy Tomlin and Ed Joyce. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Northcutt, John Devary, Bill Caudill, Ernie Burge, Jason Lowery, John Brady, Sandra Watson, Charles Bartlett, Jason Miller, Manuel Navarro, Randy Shafer, Hidehisa Nagai, Troy Moore, David Moran, Jerry Wagoner. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the University of Louisville Burn Unit who cared for him in his final days at the University of Louisville Hospital.
