Judy Gayle Bivins, of Fayette County, departed this life on May 14, 2020, at the young age of 50. She was born in Fayette County on July 10, 1969, the daughter of the late Benjamin F. Bivins, Jr. and Dora Lee Holmes Bivins Thomas, who survives, was a bus driver for the Bourbon County Schools, loved the outdoors, and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.

Besides her mother she is survived by her five children, Feather Gayle Gast, Joseph Ray Benson, Billy Ray Akers, III, Charles Adrian Dickerson, II (Victoria), and Jerome Morgan Hager. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Noah, Mason, Eli and Riley; three brothers, Tommy Bivins (Gerry) of Danville, Michael Bivins, Sr., of Lexington, Wesley Bivins of Lancaster; two nephews, Benjamin Bivins, III, and Michael Bivins, Jr., of Fayette County; as well as four nieces, Elizabeth Bivins, Mary Elizabeth Bivins of Fayette County, April Bivins and Olivia Bivins, both of Jacksonville Florida.
