Obituary for Bertie Carolyn Bohanan (Williams)

Bertie Carolyn Williams Bohanan, age 83, widow of Robert Howard “Bobby” Bohanan,
peacefully departed this life on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Clark Regional Medical Center,
Winchester, Kentucky. She was born August 22, 1939, in Little Rock, Kentucky. She was the
daughter of the late Charlie C. and Sarah Bell McGlothin Williams. She was a graduate of
Bourbon County High School.
She spent her life living and working on the farm. She loved living in the country and also
enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and canning, reading, crossword puzzles, and watching
videos on Facebook. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and was a great
listener.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet L. Sebastian; Lisa C. (Larry) Roe; a son, Robbie (Cindy)
Bohanan; six grandchildren, Sarah King, Madison (Brandon) McClure, Zack (Autumn) Roe,
Kaleigh Roe, Morgan Bohanan, Jordan Bohanan (Omar) Navarro; and four great grandchildren,
Lily, Audrey, and Daisy Gray and Branson McClure.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8th, from 5 to 8 pm at Hinton-Turner Funeral
Home, Paris, Kentucky. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9th, at the
Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Templeton officiating. Burial will be in the North
Middletown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Zack Roe, Brandon McClure, Omar Navarro,
Timmy Bohanan, Tony Bohanan and Butch Norton. Honorary bearers will be Eddie Wilson, Joe
Wilson, Donnie Goodpaster, Ronnie Sosby, Tommy King, and Floyd Setters.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Clark Regional Medical Center, especially
Bertie’s nurses, Heather and Scarlett, who provided her with loving, compassionate care. They
would also like to thank Dr. Aletia Farmer for her vigilant, loving and compassionate care.
