Betty Sue Clark, wife of Harry Clark for 68 years, departed this life on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at her home, having attained the age of 88 years. Betty was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky, on January 2, 1933, the daughter of the late Clarence Adam and Mayme D. Royse Brooks, was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, worked as a secretary for Millersburg Insurance Agency, a receptionist for Millersburg City Office, as well as having worked for W.R. Stamler Corporation, and loved U. K. basketball. She was a member of Millersburg First Christian Church, where she served as church treasurer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Rust; brother, Robert H. Brooks; brothers-in-law, Joe Faulconer, Edgar Rust; and a niece, Vicky Leggett.

In addition to her husband Harry, she is survived by their son, Bobby (Laura) Clark; grandchildren, Alex (Courtney) Clark, Jordan (Dallas) Anderson, Andrew (Analise) Sexe; great-grandchildren, Maverick, Logan, Gracie, Austin, Wyatt, and Anson. Also surviving are her sisters, Jeanette Faulconer, Geri (Virgil) Slone, Phyllis Jones; a brother, Larry (Donna) Brooks; sister-in-law, Deloris Brooks; and several cherished nieces and nephews who affectionately called her Poochie.

The graveside service for Betty Sue Clark will be on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at Millersburg Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Allen officiating. Interment will immediately follow with casket bearers being Alex Clark, Andrew Sexe, Dallas Anderson, Larry Brooks, Raymond Wheeler, Gary Haynes, and Brian Brooks. Honorary bearers are Virgil Slone, Rose Sears, Billy Hickman, John D. Plybon, John Callahan. Matt Plybon, and Mike Plybon.
