Billy Gene Dale, 85, husband of Eleanor Banta Dale, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born May 25, 1935 in Nicholas County, son of the late Clark and Christine Gilvin Dale. Billy was a retired farmer and Square D employee and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; son Gary Mark (Kathy) Dale; daughter, Kay (Jim) Fryman; a brother, Gilbert (Carolyn) Dale; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. April Jolly. Honorary bearers will be Karl and Brenda McGlone, Donnie Dale, Tommy Gillispie, Charles Johnson, Doug Martin, Jimmy Banta, Paul Lyons, Harold Grooms, Bourbon County Sheriff Department, and the Little Rock Volunteer Fire Department.
