Bobby Allen Mattox, 81, husband of Katie Hamilton Mattox, died Sunday, June 21, 2020, at his home. He was born October 21, 1938, in North Middletown, son of the late Floyd Thomas and Edna Combs Mattox. Bobby attended North Middletown High School, was a member of North Middletown Christian Church, former member of the North Middletown City Council, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by three sons, Rick (Rhonda) Mattox, Mike (Jill) Mattox, Kent (Debbie) Mattox; two stepdaughters, Patty Doyle, Judy Hudson; a brother, Tommy (Barbara) Mattox; daughter-in-law, Donna Gail Mattox; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Mattox; stepson, Ronnie Doyle; and a brother, Billy Mattox.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2020, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday.
