Obituary for Bonnie "Mumzie" Linville (Harney )

Bonnie “Mumzie” Linville, departed this life on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington, having attained the age of 87 years. Bonnie was born in Bourbon County on April 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Earl Thomas and Mayme Duncan Harney, was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, worked as a clerk at the Farmer’s Tobacco Warehouse for twenty-three years, was a lifetime member of Ruddles Fort Homemakers, loved traveling, was a retired driver for the Bourbon County Bookmobile, and a member of Ruddles Mill Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Linville.

Surviving is a daughter, Julie Linville (Dennie Lee) Ferrell; two granddaughters, Sara (Alex) Wells, Paige Florence; three great grandchildren, Ivy Camille Baxter, Harper Allison Wells, Chandler Elizabeth Wells, and one nephew, Darryl Harney.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a private funeral service for Bonnie “Mumzie” Linville at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home officiated by Rev. John McGuire. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being Lee Chanslor, Robert Craig, Perry Hutson, Todd Ferrell, Alex Wells, Dennie Lee Ferrell, and Marvin Frederick.
