Obituary for Bruce Fairbanks Spring Sr.
Master Sergeant Bruce Fairbanks Spring, Sr. (U.S. Army-Ret), husband of Beatrice Douglas Spring, departed this life on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, having attained the age of 86 years. He was born on January 25, 1935, in Boston, MA, was a veteran of the United States Army, and taught ROTC at Millersburg Military Institute.
In addition to his wife Beatrice, he is survived by daughters, Sharon (Ricky) George, Melissa (Van) Patton; a son, Bruce F. “Butch” Spring, Jr.; six grandchildren, Philip Michael Lemons, Robert Lemons, Trey Spring, Zane Patton, Chloe Patton, Victoria Spring; and one great grandson, Jacob Lemons.
The memorial service for Retired Master Sergeant Bruce Fairbanks Spring, Sr. will be at 7:00 p.m. on April 8, 2021, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until time for the service. www.hintonturner.com
