Obituary for Bruce Wornall

Robert Bruce Wornall, 65, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at his home. He was born November 24, 1956 in Paris, son of the late William Perry and Marjorie Ann Forsythe Wornall and was a graduate of Bourbon County High School. Bruce was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association.
Bruce is survived by two brothers, Stephen Perry Wornall, Hume Payne (Kim) Wornall; two nephews, Hume Payne Wornall II, Parker Matthew (Sheri) Wornall; two great nieces, Merritt Payne Wornall, Hayes Morgan Wornall; best friends, Marti S. Wornall, Pat and Dan Stiles; and many other lifelong friends. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by a great nephew, Townes Janzen Wornall.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Dr. Larry W. Bishop officiating. Casket bearers will be Payne Wornall, Parker Wornall, Donnie Hopkins, Austin Nettleship, Dale Mallory, Tully Williams, Monte Wells, and John Ewalt. Honorary bearers will be Eric Dohn, Marc Ricker, Jon Ricker, Dan Stiles, Skip Kuster, William McClintock, Leon Florence, Gayle Slade, George Robinson, Dr. Perry Wornall, and Dr. Phil Prater. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
