Obituary for Christie Lynn Moran (Kearns)

Christie Lynn Kearns Moran, 62, wife of Howard Lee Moran (Howie), departed this life on Saturday, April 17th at the Saint Joseph Hospital with family and friends by her side.
Born June 1, 1958, in Bourbon County to the late Oma Jean Pryor Kearns and Jackie Foster Kearns Sr. Christie was the Mother of her pride and joy, Amanda Jean Harney (Rodney Mitchell). She attended the Ruddles Mills Elementary School and graduated from Bourbon County High School. Christie was a member of the Ruddles Mills Christian Church, loved her dogs, work with crafts and loved her family and friends. She worked as a Bourbon County deputy jailer, factory work (IBM, 3M, Jockey & Michaels Distribution) and was owner of the Billiard Plus Pool Room in Cynthiana, KY.
Besides her husband and daughter, Christie is survived by nieces Vonda (Jonathan) Gaunce, Emily Moran and Tommi Ann Russell; nephews Justin Kearns, Tristin Kearns, Keith Kearns, Eric Moran, Matthew Moran, Roger Whitson (Jr.), Shawn Harney; several great nieces and nephews Adalyn, Abram & Alden Gaunce, Pierson Henderson, Chandler Hutchison, River Kearns; brother and sisters-in-law, Roddy and Sarah Moran, Melody Moran (Robbie Russell); Aunts and Uncles Mike (Brenda) Kearns, Mitchell (Lily) Kearns, Linda Sherwood (Jim); Special Cousins Gemma (Timmy) Claypool, Sandy (Arden) Livingood, Dolly (Henry) Mitchell, Heather (Todd) McConnell, Emilee Jordan, Ryan (Kayla) Claypool, James (Megan) Jordan, Max Mitchell, Eric (Allison) Scott; Special Friends Tammy (Timmy) Hill, Donna Jones Miller; along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Also preceding her in death were her brother, Jackie Foster Kearns Jr. (Skeeter); Grandparents Bertha and James Pryor, Alma Lee and Joe Kearns; ex-husband Marion (Moe) Harney, Brother-in-law Larry Moran, Sister-in-law Judy Sanders, great niece Ava Gaunce, niece Penny Crump; Aunts and Uncles, Susie Turner, J.C. Hedges, Jody (Danny) Lawson, Susie (Bobby) Scott, Claude Pryor; Cousin Gina Lawson; along with special friends Elvira Wilds Persson and Jill Berry.
The viewing for Christie will be at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home for family at 3:00-4:00pm on Friday, April 23, 2021, then 4:00-6:00pm for family and friends.
