Obituary for Clifford Boyd Crump

Clifford Boyd Crump, of Paris, husband of Peggy Taulbee Crump, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at his home, with family by his side, having attained the age of 57 years. Clifford was born in Paris, Kentucky, on September 11, 1964, the son of Phyllis Lutes Crump and the late Walter James “Dub” Crump, a graduate of Bourbon County High School, was retired from mason and excavating work, and loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Allen Atkinson.

In addition to his wife Peggy, and mother Phyllis, he is survived by a stepson, Michael E. Gorman and his wife, Lori M. Anderson Gorman; a half-sister, Anna Sanders; a half-brother, Andy Atkinson; a stepsister, Jackie Bholat, as well as many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Michael A. Gorman, Lucas E. Gorman, and Ava M. Gorman.

The funeral service for Clifford Boyd Crump will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Steve Wornall officiating. Interment will be in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Matt Hager, Riley Crump, Kevin Taulbee, Tommy Taulbee, David Sidles, and Jeremy Taulbee. Honorary bearers are Michael A. Gorman, Lucas E. Gorman, Ava M. Gorman, Harley Crump, Vincent Wagoner, and Henry Brown. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time for the service.
