Obituary for Donald Ray Clark

Donald Ray Clark, husband of Lisa Arnold Clark of Paris, departed this life on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, at the age of 62 years. Donald was born on December 4, 1960, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, the son of the late Anna Mae Fryman and Elcany Clark, Jr., was a 1978 graduate of Bourbon County High School, a veteran of the United States Army, and was employed at CMWA. He was a very active member of the First Church of God, coached Little League baseball, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Along with wife Lisa, Donald is survived by a daughter, Brandi (Marcus) Wehrly; sons, Cody Ray Clark, and Jesse Frank (Amber) Clark; four grandchildren, June Wehrly, Emma Wehrly, Silas Clark, Maeve Clark; a brother, Elcany (Stacey) Clark, III; and a sister, Melissa Clark. Also surviving are three nephews, Joshua Shely, Dalton Clark, Clint Fish; three nieces, Presley Clark, Lynn (Kevin) Fuller, and Taylor Fish.

The funeral service for Donald Ray Clark will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023, at First Church of God with Rev. Timothy W. Pierce officiating. Interment will be in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Cody Clark, Jesse Clark, Marcus Wehrly, Elcany Clark, III, Dalton Clark, and Joshua Shely. Honorary bearers are Eugene Franklin, John Wingo, Scott Sanders, Rodney Cosby, Dan Easley, and Steve Brunker. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at First Church of God from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
