Obituary for Donald R. Wrenn

Donald R. Wrenn, 94, a retired salesman for Thompson Sanitary Supply House, widower of Ruby Cress Wrenn, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles. He was born April 11, 1927 in Red House, Kentucky (Madison County), son of the late Jesse and Nora Coyle Wrenn. Don was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II, and was a member of First Baptist Church-Paris, where he served as deacon and on various committees.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Shawn Wrenn; two grandchildren, Emily Wrenn, Nicholas Wrenn; and a brother, Ray (Frieda) Wrenn. In addition to his wife and parents, Don was preceded in death by nine siblings.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon with Rev. Don Reed officiating. Interment will be in the Paris Cemetery.
