Doris Vivian Revel Stamper of Paris, departed this life on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 92 years. Doris was born on December 27, 1929, in Paris, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Oliver and Nellie Gray Revel, was a 1948 graduate of North Middletown High School, a retired secretary, and a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Paris where she was active for many years in the Agape Circle. She moved to Bourbon Heights in her later years and became dear to many there. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ray Stamper, and her sisters, Bertha Hamilton, and Francis Revel.

Surviving are her sons, Thomas Wayne Stamper, Stephen Boyd Stamper and his wife Sheila, as well as six grandchildren.

The funeral for Doris Vivian Revel Stamper will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Bell officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Paris Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until time for the service. www.hintonturner.com
