Dwayne Thomas Tubbs, 61, of Carlisle, departed this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at his home. He was born in Paris, Kentucky, on August 27, 1959, the son of Claude T. and Lillie Mae Brooks Tubbs; a 1977 graduate of Paris High School; former co-owner of Cypress Construction; former employee of Paris Housing Authority; a farmer; and member of Central Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Claude and Lillie Tubbs, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Davidson, a brother, Michael (Anne) Tubbs, and a sister, Pat (Roy) Scott. Also surviving are two sons, Jason Lemaster (Michelle Trevino), James (Kayla) Lemaster; four grandchildren, Zachary Siples, Kyle Lemaster, Alexis Lemaster, Easton Lemaster, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Claudia Gardner.

The funeral service for Dwayne Thomas Tubbs will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with interment to follow in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers are Steve Davis, Leon Florence, Mike Sponcil, Darrell Tubbs, Ronnie Scott, and Keith Jackson.
