Ernest "Ernie" E. Mains Jr., 77, died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore. He was born November 1, 1941 in Paris, son of the late Ernest and Mary Patterson Mains. Ernie was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in business. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a retired insurance agent and tour bus driver. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Paris Cemetery Chapel.
