James Michael “Jim” Denton, 69, husband of Sue Reed Denton, died Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Hospice Care Center. He was born February 2, 1952 in Owensboro, Kentucky, son of the late Rex and Enzie Veteto Denton. Jim was a graduate of Ohio County High School, attended the University of Kentucky, and received his Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Fugazzi Business College. He was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sue Reed Denton; a daughter, Megan (Hugo) Gonzalez; a son, Jacob Monroe Denton; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Audrey, and Scarlett Gonzalez.
Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. which will be webcast on the funeral home’s website.
