Obituary for Janet Sue Power (Burley)
Janet Sue Burley Power, 75, widow of Harold Conway Power, died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 6, 1945 in Hammond, Indiana, daughter of the late Franklin A. and Katie Jeanette Baker Burley. Janet was a member of River of Life Ministries and the Bourbon County Homemakers.
She is survived by two daughters, Dawn (David) Klein Tina (Larry) Brown; a brother, Charlie (Judy) Burley; sister, Darlene (George) Heron; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and special friend and caregiver, Holly Webb. Janet was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Mull; and a brother, Danny Burley.
Due to COVID-19 mandates, a private service will be held at the Hinton-Turner Funeral, officiated by Pastor Krista Hampton with burial in the Clintonville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Larry Brown, Zach Thompson, Colt Blake, Mattie Klein, Samantha Brown, Eddie Sosby, and Charles Burley. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to River of Life Ministries, 616 Clintonville Road, Paris, KY 40361, Bluegrass Hospice Care, 1317 US Highway 62E, Cynthiana, KY 41031, or WEDCO Home Health, 525 High Street, Paris, KY 40361.
