Obituary for JoAnn Lowery (Duckworth)
JoAnn Lowery, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, age 66, of Paris, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at Georgetown Community Hospital on April 11, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. JoAnn entered this world on February 26, 1954, in Lexington, Kentucky to parents, Jo and Eula Drennan Duckworth.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years, Dennis Lowery; her two children, Jason (Jennifer) Lowery of Winchester, Kentucky, Amber Lowery (Philip Dale) of Paris, Kentucky; and her three grandchildren, Tayvon Snowden, Kaylee Dale, and Cambree Lowery. JoAnn is also survived by her sister, Samantha (Buddy) Glover of Collins, Mississippi; nephews, Jamie (Kristi) Dugan, Shane (Susan) Glover; and niece, Lindsay Glover.
JoAnn loved the outdoors, including fishing and taking long car rides with her husband Dennis to observe wildlife. She was adored by her family and will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
A private funeral service will be held for JoAnn Lowery with interment in the Paris Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
