John Richard Simcox, Jr., age 64, of Paris, departed this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, in Lexington. He was born in Würzburg, Germany on November 18, 1955, the son of the late U.S. Army Retired John Richard Simcox, Sr. and Ava Fryman Simcox, was a high school graduate, a security guard, and a former employee of the University of Kentucky. He was a member of the Paris Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are two sisters, Jimmie Sue Martin and Kimberly Rose Sies; a cousin, Brenda (Reuben) Routt; as well as one niece and three nephews.
