Joyce Ann McCord, of Paris, departed this life unexpectedly on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Bourbon Community Hospital at the age of 61 years. Joyce was born in Paris on February 28, 1961, the daughter of Charlotte Kiser McCord and the late Lonnie Wayne McCord, was a 1979 Graduate from Paris High School, and was employed at Bourbon Heights where she had worked for 26 years as a dietary worker, loving each resident and work family member that she had the privilege of being with each week. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by uncles, Bobby McCord, Marvin McCord, Gayle McCord, Johnny McCord, Sammy McCord; as well as grandparents, Robert and Lorraine McKenzie McCord, and Lillian Clark.

Along with her mother Charlotte, she is survived by her sister, Jennifer Lynn McCord; brother, Ricky Wayne McCord; two uncles, Larry McCord, William (Teresa) McCord; great aunt Jeannine Kiser; and several additional aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral service for Joyce Ann McCord will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Celebrant Sharon L. Berry officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with casket bearers being Chris Marcum, Skylar Marcum, Ronnie Clark, Steve Clark, Jeff Clark, and Rick McCord. Visitation will be on Friday evening, March 3, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
