Kathleen Gail Florence, 66, a retired registered nurse, wife of Ted Florence, died Friday, June 4, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born October 30, 1954 in Lexington, daughter of the late David and Patricia Helen Deaton O’Dowd. Kathy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University as well as her Master’s Degree in Divinity. She was a member of Helping Hands Homemakers in Richmond.
In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by a daughter, Micca Florence; son Phillip Florence (Crystal) a grandson, Jonathan Florence; and a granddaughter, Kinsley Stevens.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Ted Florence, Phillip Florence, Zachary Keesee, Tommy Hawkins, Austin Franklin, and Mike Moberly.
