Obituary for Linda Lee Vanover (Keller)

Linda Lee Keller Vanover, 76, spouse of Ronald Dale Vanover, died Friday, April 7, 2023, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus, Cynthiana, Kentucky. Born October 18, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Mable Readnour Keller. Linda was raised in Bourbon County, graduated from Bourbon County High School and attended the University of Kentucky. She was a member and retired secretary of First Baptist Church, Paris, Kentucky, where she had served for 26 years.

Linda enjoyed growing up all of her life within the small Ruddles Mill community, where her family had farmed for many years. She enjoyed nature, roses, cardinals, and the colorful leaves of autumn. Linda loved and cherished time spent with her family and close friends, as well as playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Vanover; daughter, Amy Vanover Fracassa (Norm); son, Darron Vanover (Sara); and grandchildren Brayden & Sophia Fracassa, Sadie & Raylin Vanover. Also surviving is brother, Issac “Sonny” Keller (Carla); and three nieces Serena Denny, Jennie & Sarah Keller, cousins, and special friends. She was preceded in death by one nephew, Curtis Denny.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church, located at 919 Pleasant St, Paris, KY 40361 and coordinated by Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Pastor Don Reed officiating and Pastor Kyle Sullivan, co-officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the funeral services on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, located at 919 Pleasant St, Paris, KY 40361. Casket bearers will be Norm Fracassa, Brayden Fracassa, Ben Burke, Mark Murphy, Tim Sosby, and Bobby Sturgeon. The Deacons of First Baptist Church will serve as honorary bearers. Burial will take place at Paris Cemetery located along South Main Street in Paris, with a luncheon to follow, in celebration of Linda’s life, at First Baptist Church, in Paris.

The family expresses special appreciation to the staff at Cedar Ridge and Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice Care Team, for their loving care and compassion. Additional appreciation is in order for all the many friends and relatives who supported the family with their calls, visits, cards, and prayers during the past year.
