Lorena Bee Johnson, 79, a retired secretary for the Air Force National Guard, died Monday, June 14, 2021 at her home. She was born July 11, 1941 in Paris, daughter of the late Elgan Houston “Shorty” and Genevan Ellen Wagoner Bussell. Bee was a graduate of Bourbon County High School and was an active and faithful member of Central Baptist Church where she had served as GA leader, WMU leader, as well as various committees.
She is survived by two brothers, John Houston “Johnny” Bussell, Billy Allen Wagoner; a brother-in-law, Dennie V. Ferrell; nieces and nephews, Dennie Lee (Julie) Ferrell, Jennifer (Dean) Favorite, Kimberly Manley, Billy A. (Dawn) Wagoner; and many cousins, great nieces, great nephews, great, great nieces, and great, great nephews. Bee was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Wayne Bussell; sister, Emma Lee Ferrell; and sister-in-law, Ezella Wagoner.
