Obituary for Luesetta Alice Wagoner (Fulton)

Luesetta Alice Fulton Wagoner, widow of Carroll Eugene Wagoner, of Paris, departed this life on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 90 years. Luesetta was born in Ewing, Kentucky on May 12, 1932, the daughter of the late Marion Douglas and Mary Irene Skinner Fulton, was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Paris. She was very active in her community and church being a member of Widow to Widow, Homemakers, Order of the Eastern Star; and Prime Timers at First Baptist Church. If the Prime Timers or Homemakers were taking a trip or going out to eat, you could be assured she would be the first one out of the door as she thoroughly enjoyed each activity they did. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Alex Fulton, Clinton Tolliver, and a sister Louella Huguenard.

Surviving is a son, Robert D. Wagoner; a daughter, Carolyn (James) Poe; grandchildren, Cheryl (Kelly) Diamond, Robert Steven (Dena) Wagoner, and Laura Katherine Stigall. Also surviving are five great grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Diamond, Taylor Marie Diamond, Charlotte Wagoner, Lilly Wagoner, Andy Stigall; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Luesetta Alice Fulton Wagoner will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Don Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Kelly Diamond Robbie Wagoner, Phillip Hurst, Orville Vanlandingham, James Poe, and Ron Dryden. Honorary bearers are her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
