Martha Lynn Overly, age 73, of Paris, departed this life on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Baptist Health in Lexington. She was born in Paris, KY on May 14, 1946, the daughter of the late Leroy and Hannah Jones Overly, a 1964 graduate of Bourbon County High School, and was a retired farmer. Besides farming, she had driven a bus for the Bourbon County Schools; was a carrier for the Herald Leader for over twenty-five years; a treasurer for the Ruddles Mill Volunteer Fire Department; a former Bourbon County Fiscal Court magistrate for the Ruddles Mill District; and was a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Overly and Kenneth Overly.

Surviving is a brother, Larry Overly and his wife Betty; several cousins including, Linda Johnson, Doris McFarland, William Jones, Wanda Richard; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Paris Cemetery with Rev. Sam Chanslor officiating. Hinton-Turner funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
