Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Ginter (Booth)

Mary Elizabeth Ginter, 85, widow of Henry Ginter, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center. She was born December 29, 1935 in Nicholas County, daughter of the late James L. and Lina E. Ferguson Booth, was a graduate of Paris High School, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she was active in the Relief Society. Mary worked in the financial industry most of her life, retiring as a teller at the North Middletown Branch of Kentucky Bank. She was an avid reader and loved yard sales.
Mary is survived by two sons, James Edward “Jim” (Paula) Ginter, Henry Wayne (Lee) Ginter; six grandchildren, Matthew Ginter, Timmy Jackson, Brandace (Nick) Morgan, Thomas (Brittany) Ginter, Dakota Ginter, Kyle Ginter; a great granddaughter, Kaillee (Dalton) Harris; and her special caregiver, Ramona Kelley. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a grandson, Jimmy Ginter.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 7, at the funeral home with Bishop John Plummer officiating and will be webcast on the funeral home’s website. Interment will be in the Millersburg Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Matthew Ginter, Thomas Ginter, Dakota Ginter, Kyle Ginter, Paul Clift, and George Wilder.
