Obituary for Melissa Robinson (Gray)

Melissa Gray Robinson, 51, wife of Steven Wayne Robinson, departed this life on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at her home with her family by her side, after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Paris on May 7, 1968, the daughter of Larry Allen and Judith Ann Emmitt Gray, who survives. Melissa was a 1986 graduate of Bourbon County High School, attended the University of Kentucky, and received her Associates Degree in paralegal studies from Midway College. She was an Executive Assistant at Langley Properties, a Kentucky Colonel, an avid U.K. sports fan and a member of Paris First United Methodist Church.

Besides her husband Steven and parents Larry and Judy, she is survived by her daughter, Mallory Ann Mays (Joshua); a granddaughter, Sophia Rose Mays; a twin sister Lisa Zwick (Dr. Matt); her in-laws, Robert and Sue Robinson; two brothers-in-law, Tim Robinson (Jill) and Jamie Robinson. Also surviving are nieces, Kierstin Robinson, Abigail Robinson, Emily Robinson; nephews, Jarrod Bartlett (Danielle), Walker Bartlett, Gage Robinson; a great niece, Ariana Bartlett; and a great nephew, Braydon Bartlett.

Melissa was preceded in death by a daughter, Quinn Nicole Robinson.

The funeral service for Melissa Gray Robinson will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Paris First United Methodist Church with Dr. Eliseo Mejia officiating. Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being Gage Robinson, Walker Bartlett, Jarrod Bartlett, Joshua Mays, Michael Morrison and Jeffrey Morrison. Honorary bearers are Hunter McKune, Timmy Robinson, Jamie Robinson and Matt Zwick.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 26, 2020 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Paris First United Methodist Church.
