Michael Gene Harper, 74, passed away very peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born April 26, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Marion and Jean Harper and grew up in Morrow, Ohio.

Mike was a wonderful man who enjoyed training and showing horses all of his life… “He was a true cowboy”. He was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, Alpha 1 / 4 Company in Vietnam. He retired from a County Executive position with Farm Service Agency in Butler, Hamilton, and Warren Counties in Ohio.

Mike is survived by his wife Michele, son Andrew Harper, daughter Leslie (Jerry) Neal, and sister Cathy (Arthur) Martens. He also leaves behind a grandson, Brody Neal, nieces Julie (Matthew) Yung, Katherine Thistlethwaite, Chelsea (Adam) Curry, and beloved pets, Patrick and Riley.
