Michael Thomas Humphrey, age 66, a mechanic and hotrod enthusiast, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington. He was born January 10, 1956 in Cynthiana, KY, son of the late Paul Richard Humphrey and Teresa Garrison Walters. Mike attended Paris High School and served his country proud. He was a Vietnam War veteran with the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by a son, Bryan Humphrey; daughter, Heather Grissom ; two grandchildren, Alexa and Aiden Humphrey; brother, Jay (Michelle) Mers; three sisters, Mona (Mark) Durbin, Darlene Humphrey, Jamie (Charles) Jones; and several nieces and nephews. He was known for having a huge heart, would give you the shirt off his back. Uncle Mike had the best breakfast ever.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with military honors. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Inurnment will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. www.hintonturner.com
