Obituary for Nancy Mae Rogers (Riggs)

Nancy Mae Riggs Rogers, 80, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home. She was born June 20, 1940 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late William Henry and Nellie Frances Stanfield Riggs. Nancy was a graduate of North Middletown High School and was a member of the Clintonville Christian Church. She was active in the community life at Sayre Christian Village where she belonged to the book club and enjoyed bingo.
Nancy is survived by two sons, David Ray Rogers, Walter Len Rogers; a daughter, Rebecca Elaine Rogers; brother, Jackie (Elaine) Riggs; sister, Linda (Boxley) Caswell; four grandchildren, Matthew Bowman Brewer, Katie Rogers (Bobby Joe) Franklin, Autumn Gene Rogers (Chayse Haggins), Seth Thomas Webb; seven great grandchildren, Angelo Nativio, Izzie Paige Franklin, Michael Lawson, Vada Nativio, Mila Joe Franklin, Bristol Nicole Lawson, Kloe Haggins; and two great, great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Wayne Rogers; daughter, Elizabeth Frances Webb; a sister, Brenda Kaye Mann; two grandchildren, Anthony Allen Nativio, Joshua Lee Lawson, and a great grandchild, Cameron Nativio.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with funeral at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Charles H. Kemp. Interment will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Walter Rogers, Matt Brewer, Seth Webb, Katie Franklin, Autumn Rogers, Jackie Riggs, Boxley Caswell, Bobby Joe Franklin, Chayse Haggins, and John David Stanfield. www.hintonturner.com
