Obituary for Paul Jerome Kendall

Paul Jerome Kendall, husband of Maxine Kendall, departed this life peacefully at his home in Lexington on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, with family by his side, having attained the age of 82 years. He was born in Verona, Kentucky on July 18, 1938, the son of the late Ell Kendall, Sr., and Pearline Beach Kendall, was a 1956 graduate from Paris High School, a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a member of Bedford Acres Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaila Jansen Leggett, and two brothers, Lester Kendall, and Jimmy Kendall.

Surviving is his wife of sixty years, Maxine West Kendall; sons, Steve (Cathy) Kendall, Shane (Jennifer) Kendall; two grandsons, Ian Fightmaster (Danielle) Kendall, and Maverick Kendall. Also surviving are six great grandchildren, Peyton Kendall, Kailynn Leggett, Meradyn Crump, Braxton Kendall, Kiser Kendall, Tinley Kendall; as well as two brothers, Ell Kendall, Jr., Chester (Ruth) Kendall; and one sister, Phyllis Perkins.

There will be a graveside service for Paul Jerome Kendall at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Paris Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Perry officiating. Interment will immediately follow with casket bearers being Mike Kendall, Gary Kendall, Wayne Kendall, Kenny Kendall, Mark West, and Mike West. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon prior to the service. A reception will follow the service at the Legion Hall in Paris.
