Ray C. Abner, Jr., of Henderson, departed this life on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at his home with family and friends by his side, having attained the age of 42 years. Ray was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky on January 21, 1979, the son of the late Ray C. Abner Sr. and Geneva Katherine ”Kathy” Lemons Abner, was a high school graduate and worked as a heavy equipment operator.

Surviving are his children, a daughter, Adriana (Alex) Aguilar; a son, Aaron Ray Abner; and a special daughter, Anika Grace Paudel. Also surviving are two brothers, Raymond (Jamie) Abner, James (Tiffany) Abner; and a sister, Linda (Kelly) Frodelius.

The funeral service for Ray C. Abner, Jr. will be at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Deanna Case Boling officiating. Interment will be in Wagoner’s Chapel cemetery with casket bearers being Alex Aguilar, James Abner, David Varble, Justin Hart, Brandon Dennis, Michael Moberly and Nate Meadors.
