Robert Curtis “Bobby” Brewer, widower of Barbara Sue Elam Brewer, departed this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, having attained the age of 75 years. Bobby was born in Breathitt County on May 12, 1946, the son of the late Albert and Minnie Lawson Brewer, a high school graduate, retired UPS freight truck driver, and an active member of River of Life Ministries. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two children, Robert Shane “Robbie” Brewer, and Tammy Darlene Ishmael, as well as a sister, Lorraine Camron, and a brother, Boyd Cameron.
Surviving are his grandchildren, Justin (Samantha) Ishmael, Jeremy Ishmael, Kayla Ishmael, Tyler Ishmael, Hailey Renee Brewer, John Thomas (Kelessa) Brewer, and Robert Alain Brewer. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Savannah Ishmael, Emilee Ishmael, Jordan Ishmael, Brooklyn Ishmael, Braelynn Ishmael, Erica Brewer, Kolton Brewer; sisters, Shirley (Jessie) Grant, Betty Morris, Kaye Ramsey; sister-in-law, Joyce Brewer; and a brother-in-law, Gary Cameron.
The visitation for Robert Curtis “Bobby” Brewer will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, at the River of Life Ministries followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Krista Hampton officiating. Inurnment Will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
