Robert Lee Britton, 69, died Friday, March 26, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 24, 1951 in Saint Louis, Missouri, son of the late Irvin Floyd Britton and Helen Marie Roe Sargent. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army, a former employee of Kentucky Petroleum Equipment, and retired from Fasig-Tipton as a night watchman.
He is survived by a daughter, Frances “Frankie” (William Brooks Jr.) Morris; a son, Jason Robert (Alice Ferguson) Britton; four grandchildren, Ariel Ledington, Jayden Robert Britton, Sarah Elizabeth Jones, Kaitlyn Marie Jones; a great grandson, Emery Robert Jones; sister, Connie (Mark) Rambacher; three brothers, Danny (Pat) Reynolds; Nobel “Dusty” (Debbie) Sargent Jr., Barry (Angela) Sargent; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his stepfather, Nobel Sanford Sargent Sr.
Graveside services with military honors will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Chaplain Rick Snyder officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Bluegrass Hospice Care. www.hintonturner.com
