Robert B. “Bobby” Himes, age 80, a retired tool crib manager for Leggett and Platt, died Friday, November 18, 2022 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. He was born November 16, 1942 in Paris, son of the late Floyd B. and Helen Lorena Himes. Bobby was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, a veteran of the United States Army, and enjoyed playing golf and watching U.K. basketball.
He is survived by two brothers, Michael Himes, Doug (Gloria) Himes; five sisters, Betty Brophy, Delores Moore, Kay (Jim) Parrish, Linda (Randy) Hopkins, Susan Wigglesworth; and several nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Anna Hyatt and Saray Michaels.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Todd Parrish, Mark Parrish, Joshua Turley, Zachary Turley, Chase Wigglesworth, and Wesley Fuller. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Monday. www.hintonturner.com
