Ruby Faye Avery, 77, a retired homemaker, died Monday, May 27, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born April 6, 1942 in Blair, KY, daughter of the late Herman Arvil Golden and Rachel Eva Parker Golden and was a graduate of Whitesburg High School. Faye is survived by her husband, George Avery, Lexington, two sons, Herman Leslie (Sunnie) Dishman, Marina Del Rey, California, Charles Edward Dishman, Paris; a granddaughter, Karren (Domenic) Paneno; sister, Mary Knight; a brother, Wendell Golden, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She loved her life, her family, and her friends. There will be a private family service.
