Obituary for Ruth June Anderson (Trunnell)

Ruth June Trunnell Anderson, widow of Robert Stone, departed this life on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at her home in Homosassa, Florida, having attained the age of 93 years. She was born on December 8, 1927, in Bethesda, Maryland, the daughter of the late Walter Joseph Trunnell, Sr. and Ruth B. Weber Trunnell, was a high school graduate, a Federal Women’s Program Manager for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and author, having written Whistle Blower and Double Agents. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan A. Forsythe, and brother, Harry Weber Trunnell.
Surviving are two granddaughters, Elizabeth F. (Donnie) Spencer, and Lauren F. (Andrew) Biddle; four great grandchildren, Ellison H. Spencer, William M. “Liam” Biddle, Mason K. Biddle, and John A. Biddle. Also surviving is a brother, Walter J. (Donna) Trunnell, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Joan Miller; and her beloved cat, Dolly.
The funeral service for Ruth June Trunnell Anderson will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Paris Cemetery Chapel with Don Menke officiating. Interment will follow in Paris cemetery. www.hintonturner.com
