Obituary for Steve Hill

James Stephen “Steve” Hill, 60, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Steve was born April 19, 1961 in Paris, Kentucky, to the late James Edward Hill and Alma Jean Boone Hill. He had been a resident of the middle Georgia area for most of his life. Steve was a licensed Master Plumber and worked for Pyles Plumbing in Macon for many years. He enjoyed fishing and mud bogging.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Samantha Rivera.

Left to cherish the memories they made with Steve are his loving and devoted wife of forty-three years, Emma Tubbs Hill; his children, Stephanie Lawson (Aaron), Elisha Thornton, Becky Babb, Jessie Rivera (James), and Jamie Anderson (Michael); his grandchildren, Jacob Hatcher (Cheyenne), Lizzy Garrett (Kalob), Faith Staples (Jepty), Trevor Hatcher, Mackenzie Hatcher, Aiden Hall, Ella Hall, Alana Dearmore, Michael Anderson, Jr., Jay Rivera, and Tristan Rivera; his great-grandchildren, Kohen Hatcher, Eazy Willis, and Jaxson Staples; his nieces, Beth Vanhoose, and Christy Knight; and a brother from another mother, Bob Youngblood of Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with burial in Millersburg Cemetery.
