Obituary for Sue Davis (Hyatt)
Ella Sue Davis, age 94, passed peacefully March 16, 2020 at Bourbon Heights in Paris, Kentucky. She was born April 9, 1925 in Harrison County.
She is survived by 3 sons: Floyd (Wilma) Davis, George (Lorie) Davis, and Ronnie (Diane) Davis, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband Floyd “Shorty” Davis, parents George and Mary Lou Hyatt, brother Eugene Hyatt and sisters Dorothy Hawkins and Margaret Matherly.
She was a retired beautician who loved country music and UK basketball. She was a member of the North Middletown Christian Church and passed away under the great care of the staff at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home and Bluegrass Hospice.
Services will be Saturday, March 21 at the North Middletown Christian Church for family only conducted by Pastor Stephanie Moon. Inurnment will take place at the North Middletown Cemetery following the services. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hinton-Turner Funeral Home.
